FAQ’s
1. What’s included in a session?
Every package is bespoke to your needs. With me, you pay per session duration, not per image. I don’t gatekeep memories — if I think it’s a beautiful shot, you’ll get it! All photos are edited in my style and delivered digitally via a private link (within 2 weeks, usually sooner). I don’t provide RAW files, as they don’t reflect my style.
2. Do you limit the number of photos provided?
Nope! Your gallery will be uncapped — I’ll include every image that meets my standard.
3. How long does it take to receive my images?
Turnaround time is a maximum of 2 weeks for introductory sessions, though I’ll always try to get them to you sooner.
4. Where do the sessions take place?
Most of my shoots are in Derbyshire, but if you have somewhere special in mind, message me and I’ll see what’s possible.
5. Do you edit all the images?
Yes. I edit everything to my style, but I can make small retouches if you let me know in advance (like a temporary bruise or scratch). I don’t remove permanent features like freckles or moles — they’re part of who you are!
6. Do you photograph events like weddings, parties, or christenings?
Parties and christenings — absolutely yes! Weddings aren’t quite on my books yet, but one day, I’d love to.
7. Can I opt out of having my photos used for your portfolio?
My introductory prices reflect that I can use your images for my website and socials. If you’d prefer full privacy, I’ll be offering an alternative package in the future.
8. How do I secure a booking?
Full payment is required at the time of booking. You can pay via bank transfer, Apple Pay, or a payment link I’ll send to you.
9. What happens if the weather is bad?
It depends on the session! For indoor setups (like Christmas shoots), we’ll go ahead. For outdoor golden hour photos, we’ll work together to reschedule if needed.
10. Do you offer prints?
Not at the moment — but you’ll receive high-resolution digital images with full permission to print as much as you’d like.
11. Can you work with children and pets?
Yes! I work with children (0–5) in my full-time role and I have my own playful dog, Kobe. I’m patient, relaxed, and always make sure little ones and pets feel comfortable.
12. How should we prepare for a session?
Neutral, timeless outfits work best — think flowy dresses, jeans and a white shirt, or soft tones. Props may be needed depending on your shoot (for example, you’ll provide the cake for a cake smash). I’ll help guide you with suggestions beforehand.
13. What’s your availability?
I work this around my full-time job, so mostly evenings and weekends. Sometimes I’m free on Mondays and Fridays too. With enough notice, I can usually be flexible.
14. Can you edit a photo I already have?
Yes! If you have a high-quality photo (and permission from the photographer if it’s not yours), I can make small edits. Prices are per edit — just get in touch for examples.
15. Do you help with posing?
Yes, absolutely! I’ll never leave you hanging. If you’re nervous in front of the camera, I’ll guide you through natural, relaxed poses — or let you take the lead if you prefer.
16. What’s your style of photography?
My style is mostly candid and documentary — capturing real love, joy, and personality. I want your photos to feel natural, timeless, and full of emotion.
